Stillpoint Acupuncture, a clinic specializing in Acupuncture and East Asian Herbal Therapy in Whitefish, MT, is owned and operated by Erin Boedeker, L.Ac. Stillpoint Acupuncture is located in a shared office space with other like-minded and talented healers in the 3rd and Spokane Building above Third Street Market and Bookworks in Whitefish. Erin is extremely happy to be able to offer her services to residents of the Flathead Valley and beyond.
Erin graduated with a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in December 2009 and is a NCCAOM board certified and Montana licensed acupuncturist and East Asian herbalist. She is a member of Montana's Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Association.
Erin believes that the human body, like all living beings, possesses a fundamental desire to constantly evolve from a state of chaos to one of balance. Disease occurs when the body is no longer able to achieve that place of balance. Erin utilizes acupuncture to mobilize a body’s own healing potential to gently shift from disorder to a more harmonious state.
Erin's goal in treatment is to approach people with respect in order to hear how she can help them achieve their stillpoint, their point of calm and balance. Her patients are encouraged to take charge of their health and well-being as the acupuncturist’s job is to merely facilitate the process of healing. Her philosophy as an acupuncturist is to respect all patients and their individual approach to their own healthcare.
In addition to Acupuncture and East Asian herbal treatments, Erin's clinical services include nutritional and life style advice which help to foster a patient’s sense of responsibility for his or her own well-being outside of the clinic. She practices both Chinese and Japanese styles of diagnosis and needling as well as incorporating Cranial Sacral Therapy, Foot Reflexology and Acutonics sound therapy to create a unique experience tailored to the individuality of each of her patients.
If you are interested in exploring a deeper level of sound therapy, Erin is now offering sessions dedicated to the increased use of specialty tuning forks and chimes, tuned to the Earth, Sun, Moon and other Planets, as well as crystal and metal singing bowls. These treatments capitalize on the healing potential of acupuncture in regards to the production and movement of energy while realigning the harmonic resonance of the body.
